If I was the vendor I would return the balance less any discounts that were given for the package deal and other consequential expenses. As a client I would ask for some kind of refund for the balance but at the same time if the vendor did not have a refund policy I would understand that they are not refunding. Of course they will not get any referrals from me and would lose on building any kind of credibility but thats their karma. I think i just took what everyone just said and put it all together as my response :) It is all good....
