Marcia, I reread this and believe what you want to do is synchronize an audio file that represents the entire presentation with the presentation itself. If that is truly what you're trying to accomplish, that would be very easy to do with Camtasia studio. You would simply, record the PowerPoint presentation while listening to your audio narration, forwarding your slides at the appropriate moments. Once the recording is finished, then you would simply drop the audio onto the timeline as a separate file. The total amount of time this would take is about the equivalent to how long it would take to play the audio file twice. That includes rendering your synchronized presentation to any file format you could imagine, including directly to YouTube from the program.
