Be sure to check out what Leverette did. They are smaller and residential, but longer distances given the population size. They have gone through a process of specifying what they want, putting out request for quotes, reviewing all that, and so on. I don't know quite where they are in the process, but I thought they were shooting for 2014 to be online. You could contact George Drake <george at bio.umass.edu> for information.
