[Hidden-tech] Square Space

To Daniel and all,

I would love to hear the Pros and Cons of using Squarespace vs. Wordpress
(specifically). I'm not familiar with Squarespace but am very familiar with
Wordpress.

It seems that Squarespace charges a monthly fee. Wordpress does not. Maybe
it's a philosophical question as well - where Wordpress is Open Source,
free, and thousands of contributors adding to the core functionality as
well as tens of thousands adding widgets and plugins... Squarespace (at
first glance) appears to be a for-profit private company. How is customer
support? How much flexibility does one have in terms of adding plugins?
Ease of use? How may templates to choose from. Can others design and share
their own? Are the prices reasonable (in your opinion)? What made you
switch over to Squarespace from Wordpress? etc...

Thanks and I look forward to hearing more about it.

Kindly,

Dan
