The TEDxShelburneFalls 2012: /A Taste of TEDx /conference is a suite of 
short, carefully prepared talks, demonstrations and performances on a 
wide range of subjects to foster learning, inspiration and wonder -- and 
to provoke conversations that matter. 10 amazing, local speaker over two 
90-minute daytime sessions deliver interesting presentations on a wide 
variety of subjects, each in 18 minutes or less.

Presenters volunteering their time to speak with us are listed at the 
end of this email.


Saturday November 3

Session One: 11:30 am -- 1:00 pm

Session Two: 3:00 pm -- 4:30 pm

100 tickets are available for the in-person presentation event at 
Memorial Hall in Shelburne Falls for $19.72/session.

The program will also be livestream simulcast in real-time into the 
Mohawk High School auditorium in Shelburne Falls. Attendance at the 
simulcast is FREE but requires pre-registration as only 100 tickets are 
available.

Since the conference will be livestreamed to the internet, people 
outside the region, and those who weren't able to secure tickets to 
either Mohawk or Memorial Hall, can "attend" the conference by logging 
in to the www.TEDxShelburneFalls.com website during program times.

You can also obtain tickets by calling 800-838-3006, 24/7, and specify 
event code 275593 for the paid event at Memorial Hall and 279363 for the 
free event at Mohawk.

    a consultant and researcher specializing in programs for mindfulness
    in business, social media, health care and academia
  * /John Bos <http://www.eventidesingers.com/>, of Shelburne. John is a
    hospice volunteer and founder of Eventide, which explores music,
    spirituality the life/death transition./

    Beans Organic Coffee Company, a certified 100 percent organic, fair
    trade and kosher coffee roasting operation.
  * /Darby Dyar

    South Hadley, is a professor of astronomy at Mount Holyoke College,
    and has ongoing funding from NASA's Mars Fundamental Research
