[Hidden-tech] Hacking old iTouch...

Hi
If you do it using the "enable disk" method you will get files that are renamed with gobbletygook names and i am pretty sure they import into iTunes without tags so that you have to re-label every song in iTunes. That used to be the case anyhow.

I use Pod to Mac as well, but you will only be able to import 20 or so songs using the trial version. However, I think that Yamipod (PC) and Senuti (Mac) are both free.

Good luck!

If you can do that, then you'll be able to search through the ITouch's internal files and just pull the music off yourself.

I use Phone to Mac (http://www.macroplant.com/phonetomac/), and its worked well enough. I will also refer you to this article for more information on options available to you (http://lifehacker.com/394046/copy-music-from-your-iphone-or-ipod-to-your-computer-for-free)
