PT Web Communications Associate
The Harold Grinspoon Foundation is looking for a well-rounded Part-Time Web Communications Associate to provide website content, Internet marketing, and graphic editing support for our family of online properties. The ideal candidate will have versatile capabilities spanning three major areas: writing, graphic design, and Internet coding (HTML, CSS, etc.).
The part-time Web Communications Associate will work on location at our West Springfield offices 16 to 20 hours per week, with flexible, but regular hours to be scheduled between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

JOB DUTIES
A typical day for the Web Communications Associate may include rewriting print copy for online purposes, reformatting content for Web presentation (i.e., HTML coding within CMS), or light graphic design work (i.e., page layout or photo editing). Research or analysis may be required relating to site analytics, online advertising, or SEO/SEM. Social media and blogging support may also be required.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate will have:
·         2-5 years' experience working with online media in a marketing, communications, or editorial capacity.
·         A portfolio of work exemplifying digital media accomplishments.
·         Writing/editing proficiency (Web-based writing experience a must).
·         A thorough understanding of such social media sites as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.
·         Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite applications (i.e., Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
·         Intermediate to advanced HTML/CSS skills (JavaScript or jQuery a plus).
·         A familiarity with various CMS (WordPress a plus).
·         A degree in communications, graphic design, marketing, or related field (or comparable professional experience).
