Director of International Development
The Harold Grinspoon Foundation, located in West Springfield, Massachusetts, is seeking a Director of International Development for the PJ Library(r) program<http://www.pjlibrary.org/>.
The Director of International Development will oversee the expansion of the PJ Library program to countries throughout the Jewish world including, but not limited to, European and Latin American countries, Australia, and the former Soviet Union. The director will also steward existing relationships within countries that have already launched the PJ Library program. The director will work with other team members in creating the business and implementation plans for each country as well as an overarching global strategy.
Salary commensurate with experience.

DUTIES
The Director of International Development will:
*         Manage global expansion of PJ Library.
*         Introduce international communities to (and educate them about) the PJ Library program.
*         Create business plans for the implementation and sustainability of the international program.
*         Coordinate the marketing, fundraising, and branding elements with the North American office.
SKILLS
The successful candidate will be able to create strong connections through personal interactions with Jewish communal organizations and potential funders, including private philanthropists and foundations.
Additional necessary skills include:
*         Strategic and business planning experience.
*         Knowledge of the organized Jewish Community.
*         Commitment to Jewish philanthropy.
*         Major gifts and fundraising experience.
*         Ability to work in a self-directed and goal-oriented way.
*         Professional and articulate written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
*         Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
*         Strong computer skills.
*         Ability to work within a team.
