To get gps coordinates from a Google Maps location, right click the
location, select "What's Here", and the coordinates will be displayed inthe
search bar.
Adding location to the global Google Maps is fairly opaque and I won't try
to assist, other than suggesting Google Places for Business. If you want to
display a map on your website which is customized, the easiest way to do it
is just to use the Get Directions links provided (a short URL link or an
HTML pasted embed for an image display; and you can use a directions map
from point a to point b adjusted to your liking as the source for the map).
There is also a Google Maps API which will let you do much fancier things
with your own data, like display scaled image overlays or location markers.

Subject: [Hidden-tech] Add a location to Google maps
Hi Wise Ones,
This is ridiculous, but how do I add my location to Google maps? I've looked
everywhere online and can't find out how to do it. Also, how do I find the
coordinates for my location since Google and most GPS systems have it wrong.
I've been told if we give people the coordinates they can put them into
their GPS (if they know how).
As ever, thanks.
