I haven't upgraded yet. Creative Cloud doesn't seem like a good deal to me but I'm not positive. I have Creative Suite 3 Standard. The cost is $700 to upgrade to CS6 but eligibility to upgrade CS3 ends Dec. 31<http://www.adobe.com/products/creativesuite/faq/upgrade-policy.html>. If I went with Creative Cloud for two years, it would be discounted to $30/mo for year one, then presumably goes up to their current regular price of $50/mo for year two, so $960 total. So at end of year two with C.C., I would have paid $260 more than upgrading to CS6, and have to continue paying at least $600/year or go back to CS3 and be stuck with a version that would no longer be eligible for upgrade pricing. Whereas if I get CS6 now, that would probably be just a tad behind the newest version out two years from now. I think for those with CS3 or 4, C.C. would only be worth it if needing the cloud sync/storage, additional programs that don't come with CS Design Standard, for cash flow reasons (despite the higher cost over the long-run), or if one really needs the newest version at all times. Seems like C.C. would be awesome but definitely costlier over time, and only worth it for some people. Any thoughts?
