Can somebody recommend somebody to help me with the following problem? I have Oracle 11.2.0.1.0 installed on my Windows 7 machine along with several databases. I used to be able to access those databases through SQLPlus and the web based interface. Something has changed on my system (I'm guessing the addition of some VPN software, but that's just a guess) and now I get a TNS: could not resolve the connect identifier specified error. (Yes I've checked TNS names, yes I've started both the database and listener from the service control panel and yes my router assigns the same IP address to this machine each time). I would like to pay an experienced Oracle DB that deals with these kinds of issue to remotely connect to my machine and diagnose and fix this problem. I'm hoping that this is something that somebody in the know can fix in an hour or two if not quicker and be able to explain to me what went wrong and how to fix it myself if I find myself in the same situation again at a later point in time.
