[Hidden-tech] Turn WIFi off and on

Hi Diana,

Well, a lo-tech way might be to use one of those electric timers that people use to turn lights on and off when they're away. Just set it up between your wifi router and the outlet.

I haven't tried it myself, but it ought to work. If I'm not mistaken, those timers intentionally alter the timing each day to appear random so it might not be as precise as you want. Another concern might be whether the circuitry in the router can handle being turned on and off everyday. It would be interesting to hear what others have to say about that.

Good luck.

Best,
Kimo
