[Hidden-tech] Converting audio to text...

For relatively short audio files, you could try sending them to a Google 
Voice account as voicemail and retrieve the text transcriptions.

What you want is not what GV was designed for, but its voice to text 
feature seems no worse than most of the high-priced commercial voice 
transcription products, and it's free.
