Just a warning for anyone who is considering doing this on AT&T. >>>>> James Triplett <jm-hiddentech at vj8.net> writes: > 3. AT&T has begun to crack down on unofficial tethering methods, including MyWi and PDANet. Customers are being notified that their service plans need updating to subscribe to a tethering plan, and that they will be automatically subscribed to a DataPro 4GB package that costs an additional $45 per month if they continue to tether. Undoubtedly other carriers will follow suit, and it's easy to guess that Verizon (for example) may just go ahead and automatically subscribe you to the tethering package without sending a warning letter first.
