Replace the thermostat with a programmable unit with a lockout, nearly all of them have that feature now. If it is controlling heating only there will be 2 or 3 wires to attach, pretty easy. I pay for oil. My housemate / renters live upstairs and pay directly. I caught my housemates wearing shorts and turning up the heat. On consideration, I decided that I was not interested in being thermostat police. Before I decided to read the riot act and ask a surcharge, What I want to do is find out who knows 1. what is the most efficient and safe model space heater for a good sized room? 2. how much would 8 months of running it add to the electricity bill? = I have not failed. I have identified 10,000 ways this does not work. -Thomas Edison Robin MacRostie Choreo G R A P H I C Design where YOU're the show & tell 413-549-6403 . 413.461.6655 choreographicdesign.com -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
