Lorenti Jr. <mlorenti at sensatia.com> To: GBN General Discussion <cabn at lists.coopamerica.org> Hello Everyone, We are going to use iPad and facetime for internal company communications. The setting is a cosmetic production facility. The actual production areas are quite sealed off and the staff has to wash, change clothes and shoes before they can go into the production areas. It is a very sterile environment almost like an OR. Thus iPad and facetime was my best solution. So I got to think of all the possibilities...... My other huge headache is inventory of raw materials and packaging. I would like to do away with the ridiculousness of all the paper and manual inventory checks.... iPad ;-) So my question is does anyone use iPad or iPhone or iPod to keep track of inventory? If so my questions are as follows: 1. What app do you use and recommend??? 2. Can the inventory be checked live from any other computer/ iPad, iPhone or iPod ??? Ultimately would love for the staff to be checking materials in via an iPad and then I or any of the office staff can check stock of anything at any given time. Any suggestions anyone??? Thanking you in advance. Sincerely, Michael Have a great day, Michael R.
