On the subject of 3/4" tape, I happened to run speak with Wendy Bloomenthal from Amherst Media a little while back, and I was glad to hear that they still have their 3/4" deck, and that they do accept jobs from the outside to do conversions. They're a non-profit and it seems like a good revenue stream on the side. Prices sounded very reasonable, and they're a great resource to support. I even did some stuff there (it was ACTV then) very early on when I lived in Amherst. It also sounded like their geographic restrictions might now include residents of other towns since their charter has changed, though I could be wrong about that.. Anyway, they are a really good community resource to know about.
