I would suggest TrueCrypt - encrypt a folder containing the data and then burn the encrypted folder to disc. It's stronger encryption that most of the password protected zip options available, and is free/open source so you can ensure that the recipient can decrypt the data when they receive it without having to purchase something. I can't tell you how many 'protected' zip files I have been asked (legitimately, by business folk who owned the right to look into the files) to break open, and how few of them resisted for any length of time. -Neal Priestly Free Range Technologist On Wed, Jul 20, 2011 at 11:55 AM, <ckiras at comcast.net> wrote: > ** Be sure to fill out the survey/skills inventory in the member's area. > ** If you did, we all thank you. > > > > Hi! > I am looking for free-easy to use file/disc encryption software. > I have a client needing to land mail a CD/DVD with sensitive information. > > Thank you > > > > > _______________________________________________ > Hidden-discuss mailing list - home page: http://www.hidden-tech.net > Hidden-discuss at lists.hidden-tech.net > > You are receiving this because you are on the Hidden-Tech Discussion list. > If you would like to change your list preferences, Go to the Members > page on the Hidden Tech Web site. > http://www.hidden-tech.net/members > -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
