[Hidden-tech] Phone service overseas

Hi,

I have a friend who will be traveling to Spain in September. Her carrier is
AT&T; her phone is a Blackberry Torch. Her job requires that she communicate
by phone and email while away. What is the most efficient and economical way
to handle this?
