I just returned from the Montreal Jazz Festival, taking the train from Albany, NY. It was a marvelous ride, for significant portions. But sitting for nearly two hours while the customs officers did their deal was de-motivating for me to return to Montreal via train. If Wi-Fi were provided, it would be a major incentive to travel by train; otherwise, next time I'm more inclined to drive. They are definitely thinking about it. I told them I would NOT pay for it. And it would encourage me to travel by train. Beyond WIfi they are thinking about movies, tv and games. Even coming from Brattleboro getting on here, 10 minutes from home and traveling all the way into the city, is an improvement over driving - if I can spare the time and the schedule works. The DC trip is a bit long. I fly but what a hassle it is!
