[Hidden-tech] Autism: Coming of Age premiering this evening

Thought folks might like to know about a locally produced documentary that will be premiering on WGBY tonight (Thursday, 2/24) entitled 'Autism: Coming of Age'. This hour long documentary was produced by an East Longmeadow production company: Veritech Corporation in East Longmeadow in cooperation with WGBY. It will be airing on other PBS stations around the country during national autism month in April. It was produced, shot and edited by local people. 

Over a year in the making, this program provides an inside look at the lives of three adults with autism and includes interviews with their families and support teams. Autism and disability experts from Massachusetts, New York, Washington, Virginia and Pennsylvania also discuss the current system, impending challenges and possible outcomes for the future.
