[Hidden-tech] Microsoft.NET & Silverlight -- if a PC user, not a developer, are they needed to run System 7?

DotNet versions 1 through 3 are necessary for many programs installed on a
windows machine, removing them will stop those programs from running.

Silverlight is the MS version of Flash and can be removed OK, but again some
programs/websites will not display Silverlight content anymore.

I personally do not have Silverlight installed and have never missed it.

Question about Microsoft.NET & Silverlight -- if a PC user, not a developer,
are they needed to run System 7? Can I just delete them?

Thanks!
