Elijah -- Thanks for the info ... hearing that your battery died is not particularly confidence inspiring ... though for my use I should only use the battery minimally -- I had a Tripp Lite UPS for close to 3 years that I used in concerts and the battery only went on a few times, and then only for a few minutes ... If you don't mind my asking -- how did you know the battery went ? was it being tripped a lot ? My unit appears to be fairly high end -- I found 50 reviews of it on Amazon and a few people had a defective battery upon buying it ...
