[Hidden-tech] Check broken external links

there is a fairly simple way to get the results,
make simple html page of all the links and use a link check plugin for firefox.
all the bad ones will be in red.

To use a script here is one we've used often:
        http://linkchecker.sourceforge.net/
Many input and output options
