[Hidden-tech] ram upgrade quandary

thanks to those who replied about my macmini ram upgrade. I checked out the
details and it looks like the mac mini I have only has one slot for Ram and
the largest size they have is 1GB...so, now my question is: whether this
(slight?) increase in Ram (512MB to 1GB) will be enough to make a difference
or should I just bite the bullet and buy a NEW macmini (or imac, or laptop,
or ...??).

oh the quandaries of the modern human...
