As a longtime Toastmaster member, I'd like to second the benefit of learning the skills Toastmasters offers. It's not only public speaking-but communication in general, including listening and leadership. My club-Southern Berkshire Toastmasters-is not only award winning, it's also a great group of people. We meet the first, third and fifth Tues. at noon in Great Barrington, MA. The meeting is no more than 1:15 hours. We welcome visitors at all meetings. Come see us. http://sberkshire.freetoasthost.com/ --Susanna ------------------------------------- Susanna Opper Shawenon Communications Our distinction is communicating your distinction 413-528-6494 susanna at shawenon.com www.shawenon.com Twitter: @SusannaOpper From: hidden-discuss-bounces at lists.hidden-tech.net [mailto:hidden-discuss-bounces at lists.hidden-tech.net] On Behalf Of Jeff Rutherford Sent: Friday, October 22, 2010 11:06 AM To: jason at sampw.com Cc: Hidden-Tech Tech Subject: Re: [Hidden-tech] Public speaking Hi Jason, I should have made it clear. I wasn't able to make it to Wednesday's open house - my wife is due with our first child in a few weeks and we're busy getting the last few move-in and baby projects wrapped up. Will there be another open house in the winter or spring?
