Hi Jim, Boy does your message take me back! Pagemaker 6 might date back to when our boys were at Sunnyside! Your old Mac Syquest drive probably has a SCSI connector. So to get the file off of the cartridge, you¹ll either need a very old Mac that still has SCSI or else you¹ll need to buy some sort of SCSI to USB adapter (there are some available) so you can connect to a newer Mac. I seem to recall that there were several sizes of Syquest cartridges. I think I had both 44 and 88 megabyte drives. I still have one of those drives in a box of ³junk² in my garage. Also, those cartridges may not have stood the test of time. They were finicky (to say the least), so if you are able to get a successful connection I recommend that you copy every file that you would like to keep. Adobe InDesign can import old PageMaker files, so that may be your best bet there. And then after importing, you could export it to PDF or some other format from which you could build a web page. Here¹s a link that my be helpful. http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/324/324329.html Regards, David ++++++++++ David Spound, M.Ed.
