[Hidden-tech] Have you used? CRM, Capsule, GoogleApps...

We use Sugar CRM free edition mainly because we wanted a solution we
could host ourselves. Roy Cohen of Network Advantage set this up for us
and maintains it as needed. He's a member of HT.

Microsoft Outlook has a module called Business Contact Manager which is
a decent product IMO.

Now if only Mozilla's Thunderbird did the same or integrated better with
any of these CRM apps. I think Mozilla should buy Sugar and make it
happen, maybe this will be my 1st Facebook campaign . . .

I had a great conversation with someone on this list who I believe
helped design HEAP CRM - http://heap.wbpsystems.com/.

Not much info. on the site about how well it plays with other apps.

We're using Mailchimp over Constant Contact or iContact, by the by.

I did post recently about a program that does payroll OTHER than
Quickbooks but did not get many (if any) responses. It does not look
like Xero, Freshbooks, or FreeAgent YET have this feature in the USA.

My guess is that app makers are concerned with liability when
calculating tax payments for payroll and therefore avoid it.
