How is the privacy of your files using these services ? I am talking about customer information typical of a home or small business and audio/video files that one might have "backed up" for themselves or "borrowed" from another ? We use a 2 TB Netgear ReadyNAS, which we got for about $300. It supports Time Machine out of the box. Right now, we pay $200/year for unlimited storage on Netgear's (Amazon S3) cloud storage service, which is tightly integrated with the Linux OS in the NAS. Iomega offers a similar service with Mozy with its 4 TB StorCenter Pro ix4-100 NAS drive, which also supports Time Machine. That (or one of its little sisters) might be an attractive solution for you. -- Roger Williams <roger at qux.com> Chief Technical Officer, Qux Corporation 433 West Street, Suite 8, Amherst, MA 01002, USA Tel +1 413 253-6400 * Fax +1 508 302-0230 * GSM +1 508 287-1420 _______________________________________________ Hidden-discuss mailing list - home page: http://www.hidden-tech.net Hidden-discuss at lists.hidden-tech.net You are receiving this because you are on the Hidden-Tech Discussion list.
