[Hidden-tech] Charter broadband vs. Verizon DSL

I have heard far too many horror stories about Charter  (read Roger's
post for more details on some of them)  to be able to recommend them.
    If you are in the Comcast area, they are not too bad.  But
charter?  Stay away.

DSL, I dislike Verizon's customer service -- For just internet I
really recommend going with Crocker Communications. They are local and
have always been amazing in the customer service area.

That said... If you already have phone lines through verizon, it looks
like some of their current deals are pretty good.  They are offering
7mb/768k  DSL combined with phone for $55 a month.
