[Hidden-tech] Encryption question?

Truecrypt is a good open source drive and file encryption program but it can
be a little tricky when encrypting the drive your computer boots from or
backup drives that get swapped often....windows will occasionally change the
drive ID for no good reason what so ever and then Truecrypt cannot find it.
Zixmail is OK for email encryption that integrates with Outlook or can run
stand alone. Awkward interface but does the job.
Cost $125 per email address per year.

Subject: [Hidden-tech] Encryption question?
Hi Experts!
Can you recommend a reliable (and affordable) email encryption program?
Winzip has been recommended... but I have questions on that program .. Mac
users don't seem to be able to open files ....
Also, have you tried Truecrypt for free file encryption -- and would you
recommend?
Thanks for any input (from the non-techie).
