[Hidden-tech] New Verizon Cell Phones?

Esteemed Hidden-Tech Colleagues,
Thanks very much for the very thoughtful responses to my recent question about the Great Smart Phone Dilemma. They were all very helpful.

In uncharacteristically speedy-decision fashion, I just returned from our nearest Verizon store with my new Motorola Droid. So far so good. I passed an iPhone guy on the street and didn't even feel the least bit self conscious or uncool, at least no more than usual.

It's good to know there is a network one can call on for honest and wise feedback in this complex and impersonal world.

Thanks!!!
Alan

We've pretty much decided to stay with Verizon as a carrier, so iPhones are out, at least for the moment, rumors of new alliances notwithstanding.

(The expensive one has both types of key pads.) The Blackberry seems more solid and tried-and-true, but there was something about talking to the Droid (I think asking directions), and having it respond, that deeply moved me in some superficial way. I'm, as they say, in dilemma.
