Cynthia, I have actually recently been coming across some $399 deals for nice refurbished notebooks that still have 90-180 days left in warranty. One of my distributors bought up a few huge batches of business class notebooks (Dell Latitudes, etc) that were coming off-lease. They are 2-2.5 year old machines generally, but they mostly are top-class laptops anyways (2gig ram, core 2, 80gig hdd, etc). I would recommend these style of laptop generally over the netbook, as they are higher functioning machines. That and too many netbooks these days are shipping with windows 7 starter (ew). I was thinking I’d buy one of those $400 deals for Internet, email, and word processing... Does anyone have experience with one of these devices.... Any recommendations? > Thanks in advance, > Cynthia Roderick > _______________________________________________ > Hidden-discuss mailing list - home page: http://www.hidden-tech.net > Hidden-discuss at lists.hidden-tech.net > > You are receiving this because you are on the Hidden-Tech Discussion list. > If you would like to change your list preferences, Go to the Members > page on the Hidden Tech Web site. > http://www.hidden-tech.net/members >
