Normally this is what I would do, is to set up the RDP. However, they are leaving their best computers at home and wish to use the files off of the server as though they were on the same network. I would have use Gotomypc or RDP like I use for my other clients, but I don't think this will work well in this situation. So I'm thinking VPN for their Outlook/Exchange and their files. The only problem with a lot of the main brand VPNs is that they require unique clients. Although I'm seeing that staples now sells Cisco branded VPN routers and the cisco client was pretty good......
