[Hidden-tech] Windows Help... 'Windows cannot find logon.exe... '

Hi David,
    At this point I'd recommend a XP repair.  You boot off of the 
Windows XP CD and then I think on the first or second menu you have an 
option to perform a repair on the local Windows drive.  This will 
restore all of the original Windows XP system files (including logon.exe 
I would imagine).  This would clean up a lot of virus files.

    Actually, I've fought lots of viruses before and most likely 
logon.exe is not actually a real legitimate file, it is something that 
was a virus.  The thing to do is to click on Start --> Run and type in 
"msconfig" and then go to the "Startup" tab and disable anything that 
says logon.exe (where you see the path to the file).


   For the internet issue, you probably have a corrupted TCP/IP stack.
