ironically... no. all the best pro HD cameras now have sd "like" cards  
instead or in addition to digital tape. and most pro-sumer cameras now  
have pretty large capacity for about the price range you mentioned.  
check out bhphotovideo. com for a huge selection and easily searchable  
etc.
