Lynne,

We do a lot of ecommerce shopping carts and yes there options are unlimited.
We've found two that work well in most situations, well 3 actually.

We use Volusion www.volusion.com for clients that want an online store.
When I say store I mean complete storefront, with departments, categories,
lots of products etc. That's a complete solution and starts at
$24.95/month. It's a really great product.

For customers that just want to sell online, like they have items to sell,
but it's not the primary focus of their site then we suggest either
1ShoppingCart.comwww.1shoppingcart.com/app/?pr=1&id=149531 which is an add
on cart and autoresponder solution. Very easy to setup, no need to do an
SSL, very siminlar to PayPal where it is an offsite cart with onsite pop in
javascript for purchasing, but with a lot more power. That starts at
$24.95/month as well I believe.

Lastly, if people are using Wordpress then we use wpcommerce. It's a one
time fee for the store to do it right, but works pretty well.
