We have used sql-ledger for the past several years with pretty good results. It is a full-blown double-entry system accounting system that is also supported commercially if you have special needs. sql-ledger runs on the LAMP stack (actually postgresql is preferred to mysql) so it just takes a browser window to access the application. And it can be run internally or even over the internet if one so desires. -Roy -- 413-223-9007 opt 1 www.net-vantage.com Our Mission: "Providing the same technology advantages enjoyed by large organizations to small and medium-sized businesses, professional practices, schools, and non- profits, at a realistic and practical cost." ===================================================== On Wed February 24 2010 14:42:04 you wrote: > ** Be sure to fill out the survey/skills inventory in the member's area. > ** If you did, we all thank you. > > At Wed, 24 Feb 2010 12:57:09 -0500 andrew at stakeholderscapital.com wrote: > > MIME-Version: 1.0 > > > > ** Be sure to fill out the survey/skills inventory in the member's > > area. ** If you did, we all thank you. > > > > > > > > > > Dear H-T, > > > > I'm wondering what experiences folks have had with alternatives to > > Quickbooks payroll.
