I know some folks have had problems with coverage in the Amherst area, but I've never had problems with my iPhone. I use it for everything -- email, IM, SMS, has calendar integration, view documents and PDFs, edit data in corporate databases, all my online bank accounts, I use it to play games, to tune my guitar, as a metronome, to track calories, check TV and movie schedules, and read books -- I've got hundreds of ebooks on it and the fact that the screen has a light means that I can read in bed, in the dark. Oh, and I use it as a flashlight when going up and down the stairs at night! The only thing I need that would make the iPhone perfect -- which some of the other pdas mentioned here already have -- is an external keyboard. If I had that, I would be able to take notes on it and would never have to carry my laptop anywhere. I talked to a support guy at Apple who said that they're going to release a keyboard with the iPad which will be compatible with the iPhone. I've got my fingers crossed! - Maria Maria Korolov (Trombly) 508-443-1130 | maria at trombly.com Technology columnist Securities Industry News | Insurance Networking News | Bank Technology News Editor & publisher, Hypergrid Business (http://www.hypergridbusiness.com) On Mon, Feb 22, 2010 at 3:22 PM, Tom Kopec <tek at acm.org> wrote: > ** Be sure to fill out the survey/skills inventory in the member's area. > ** If you did, we all thank you. > > > My daughter rally loved her moto Droid. > Until this weekend. > It got the dreaded "endless reboot loop" disease, which is apparently > pretty common..
