[Hidden-tech] CONWAY high speed internet

HI Sarah,

At the moment Hart Road has neither cable or DSL, however that will be
changing. Conway recently negotiated a new contract with Comcast and Hart
Road is going to be wired by Comcast within roughly two years. However, GAW
is probably going to be setting up a high speed wireless network for this
area within the next couple of months. I would suggest that you don't sign
up with any provider (like Hughesnet) that is going to require a two year
commitment. It would be better to wait a bit and see what GAW does. If
they are going to do anything it will probably be pretty soon.

Hi Everyone

I am moving to Conway and am trying to find the best/fastest Internet
service available and am finding the process fairly convoluted. I have
joined the relative email lists and seen the Wired-West initiatives and the
meeting/vote happening on Jan 31st, but I need an immediate solution. Does
anyone know what the best options are? I will be on Hart Road.

Thanks in advance for the advise. Everyone on this list is always so
helpful. I really appreciate it and always try to repay the favor when I
have something of value to contribute.

Sarah
