[Hidden-tech] Kindle or Nook

AFAIK, Kindle supports mobi (mobireader is owned by Amazon), but not
ePub. There are far fewer books available in mobi format than in ePub.

The Color Nook is in fact a 7" tablet running Android 2.1 at 1024 x 600
resolution.

To my great surprise, I have found it quite easy to read many ebooks in
ePub format on my HTC Droid Incredible using the free Aldiko reader.

A great source of information about ebook readers, including reviews of
new devices and comparisons, is http://www.the-ebook-reader.com/

Finally, if you own any print editon books from O'Reilly, which now
includes Microsoft Press, you can set up an account on the O'Reilly site
and register them there. After doing that, you can buy and download the
ebook version (if there is one) for each registered title. Most are
available in pdf format, many in ePub and mobi, a few in Daisy (for the
sight-impaired).
