There are a number of good data recovery programs. The best free one I have used is probably PC Inspector File Recovery from Convar (http://download.cnet.com/PC-Inspector-File-Recovery/3000-2248_4-10118663.html) Made by a german company, it is a simple software, but should find what you are looking for if the drive has not had anything else done to it. (here is their website as well: http://www.pcinspector.de/Default.htm?language=1). If you run into problems feel free to give me a call, I do data recovery quite frequently. ~Kiernan Head Technician - Green Earth Computers www.greenearthcomputers.us greenearthcomputer at gmail.com 413-282-TECH On Mon, Aug 2, 2010 at 2:42 PM, Sven Kielhorn <etownsven at gmail.com> wrote: > ** Be sure to fill out the survey/skills inventory in the member's area. > ** If you did, we all thank you. > > > Hello all, > > what is the best way to undelete or unerase data on an external hard > drive? the external hard drive already underwent a quick-reformat. > running windows 7 pro. > > Thank you in advance for any comments or advise you could provide me with, > > Sven Kielhorn > eTown Videos > Creative & Technical Director > www.etownvideos.com > Phone 413-324-1130 > Fax 413-241-7010 > _______________________________________________ > Hidden-discuss mailing list - home page: http://www.hidden-tech.net > Hidden-discuss at lists.hidden-tech.net > > You are receiving this because you are on the Hidden-Tech Discussion list. > If you would like to change your list preferences, Go to the Members > page on the Hidden Tech Web site. > http://www.hidden-tech.net/members >
