Interesting about port 25. This action by Verizon as of earlier in 2009 coincides with advice at that time from Comcast to its customers that Comcast has moved over to using port 25. One gets the impression these guys play ugly with each other without regard to transparency across email users. Wouldn't take much to re-create the good ol' days when fire departments were private insurance operations who would let your house burn down if you didn't carry their policy. Come to think of it, that sorta sounds like today's managed care orgs and their payment subscription services when they scrutinize health bills to see if you're too expensive to keep alive, when push comes to shove. How do the French put it?-approximately-plus ca change, plus la meme. Hi Charles, Yup, I've noticed this also. Comcast started doing this around the beginning of the year, if I'm not mistaken.
