[Hidden-tech] AT&T Wireless service quality

I love the iPhone and I find AT&T's service to be moderately disappointing.
I have not noticed delays in voice mail. What I do notice is that many calls
seem to go right to voicemail -- my phone does not ring.

The full integration with my Mac is a huge plus -- something I could never
achieve with a Verizon phone. So I consider the productivity boost to
somewhat balance the less-than-stellar network performance. I had Verizon
phones for nearly 10 years. They have plenty of problems too, including (at
times) horrible customer service.

When I got my iPhone at the AT&T store, it came with a 15 day return option.
So I was able to give it a good test (using a temporary AT&T phone number)
and when I decided to keep it, I had them port my cell number over from
Verizon. So you might want to consider doing a similar test before you make
a final decision.

Regards,

David
