[Hidden-tech] Digital speech recorder recommendations wanted

Will,

You should also consider the Edirol R-09 recorder. It has built-in 
stereo mics. I'm pretty sure, you can also use an external mic (lapel 
mic). It will fit into a pocket. It will record in either WAV or Mp3 
format. It records to SD. It runs on AA batteries. It connects to your 
computer via USB for easy transferring of files.

I have one that I've used for recording podcast interviews (face-to-face 
- talking with someone). I haven't used it to record a lecture or talk.
