Whew!  Boy do we have some updates here, so take a little extra time  
and read the entire email as it will have a lot of the questions you  
are all asking.

The schedule for the Boston/South Shore Boot Camp is up! WooHoo!

Take a look at all the incredible classes offered and plan your attack  
for the day! PLEASE remember, this is subject to change, just like any  
conference or expo.
Everything is color-coded for beginner, intermediate and advanced.

SPACE IS LIMITED:
If you have not registered, please do so immediately or you may lose

Plan Your Day Wisely

We realize this is a long day so we want you to plan wisely for the  
day. We are currently creating some new pages on the website for  
planning your day and what to expect to get the most out of the day.

Here are a few tips:


You DO NOT need a laptop, unless you cannot part from yours and want  
to explore on your own. Laptops are absolutely welcome.
You DO NOT need to bring a notebook as you will be given the Essential  
Geek Girl Conference and Resource Handbook to jot notes in and carry  
everywhere with you.(Another great reason to advertise in it! Rates as  
low as $50!)
You DO NOT need to copy everything verbatim - all presentations will  
be available after the the event online for your to refer to.
You DO NOT need to sign up for individual workshops - there is room  
and we practice the "Law of Two Feet" so you can move around.


You DO need to come with an open mind, open heart, patience and a  
desire to meet new friends and new contacts for business and personal.  
Remember, the person sitting next to you could be your best client/ 
vendor/friend!
You DO need to wear casual clothing and sneakers or comfortable shoes.
You DO need to understand to get the most out of everything, you need  
to ASK QUESTIONS - you cannot blame anyone if you are not asking the  
questions you need answered!

Missing Manual (Pogue Press/O’Reilly) Lesa Snider King will be on hand  
to teach her highly anticipated class straight from MacWorld, “Digital  
Photo Workshop: Shoot & Edit Like a Pro!”

Lesa will be riding her motorcycle into town for the Boston/South  
Shore event to provide world class workshops at Geek Girl Camp and we  
couldn’t be more proud to have Lesa with us. Read more on Lesa here!

Lesa will also be teaching workshops on podcasting, something she  
knows a lot about as she co-hosts “Your Mac Life” internet radio show  
every Wednesday. Lesa will also be teaching us all about using the  
best stock photography for all your web and print needs in her "How to

Lesa will also be signing her Photoshop book, also for sale at the
