Sooner or later, everyone will suffer a disk crash, it's almost a law of nature. I finally decided that off-premises was the way to go, and am very happy with Carbonite. I guess the trade-off is how secure is your office or home vs. online. I have a client who decided that it was more secure, convenient and inexpensive to drag-and-drop files to an unsecured flash drive rather than to go to an online backup.
