Hey Andrew,

Thanks.

We met very briefly at your open house-I'm a friend of Susan's. It was the
event of the year in Amherst. I wish you great success.

Amazon has made amazing use of their underused infrastructure-this looks
excellent.

Hey Dan,

I learned about JungleDisk from an HT discussion last year. It's a company
that gains one access to a division of Amazon. I believe the Amazon servers
are located in the US if that's a concern.

Regards,

Andrew

Hi,

I want to switch desktop back up systems
and figured Ibd see what advice HTbers have.

Is anyone using Mozy or Carbonite?

Carbonite is $54.95 a year for unlimited
storage. Mozy charges 3.95 plus .50 per GB each month so either way price
isnbt a huge deal.

I had been using Norton 360 but the
subscription finally expired. Every computer guy I mentioned 360 to said
get rid of it. But for over ten years computer guys have been telling me
whatever Ibm doing is wrong. Theybre probably right.

I need simple backup and restore plus reliability
and I donbt want it to slow down my computer(s). Donbt know
what other considerations are important.

Thanks,

Dan Green
