Another solution to the cellphone thing -- if you have an iPhone, the overseas charges are astronomical. So when I was in China this spring (and will be again, this summer) I switched it to "airplane mode" and kept it there the whole trip, just using it in WiFi mode (most places I went had WiFi, so this was pretty easy). You can even download Skype for your iPhone to make calls over WiFi. I bought a cheap prepaid phone to use while there to call other people in China. -- Maria Maria Korolov Editor & publisher, Hypergrid Business (hypergridbusiness.com) Trombly Ltd.
