Greetings; we are seeking a qualified web developer/development firm for
the following project. Please visit http://www.yes-inc.org for the
complete RFP.

This RFP <http://www.yes-inc.org>describes the details of a project
currently undertaken by the North Quabbin Youth Leadership Council, a
program of YES, Inc. in Orange, Massachusetts. The working title of
the project is "Teen Web Portal", which encompasses five major
objectives to be supported by a well-developed web presence:

    * The site will be a place for teens across Franklin and western
Worcester counties to interact using modern, viral and social
      networking tools.
    * The site will be a destination for the sharing and receiving of
important, community based resources and event information
specific to teens in the demographic.
    * The site must have a clean, simple interface which is driven by a
content management system which will enable administrative control
as well as multi-tier, permissions based "log-in" or user accounts
for staff and community members alike.
    * The site must be sustainable in design, meaning coded in such a
fashion that YES, Inc. may change or augment the site's elements
and/or site based services (such as hosting, CMS, functionality or
email) at its future discretion as needed.
    * The site must contain a "banner" or site based graphical or
text-link advertising feature with administrative controls and
tracking capacity, which will be the major tool for project-based
      revenue generation

Additional Feature requirements are outlined in the RFP doc, here.

Feature Requirements by Category are available by visiting the YES
website and downloading the RFP document here. <http://www.yes-inc.org>

**

*In selecting a website designer, YES, Inc. seeks a vendor experienced
with modern, social-networking website design, and experience
particularly with the challenges and considerations of servicing the
communities of Franklin County would be beneficial, though not
necessarily required. The vendor will meet in person with our Website
Committee to discuss their vision of the website, present and discuss
examples of past work, and field questions from Website Committee
members. Examples of topics for further discussion, or information
desired by the Website Committee are included in the RFP doc
<http://www.yes-inc.org>.*

*Budget*

Yes, Inc. has allocated a budget of $3,000.00 toward website design and
maintenance; proposals at this point should be considered a "bid",
representing the designer's estimates of real cost given the description
above. Proposals must also include estimates of expected yearly
maintenance costs, which will be an important factor in considering the
proposal. Each proposal will be evaluated independently and the winner
will be awarded on the basis of the most complete, qualified proposal
fitting within the budgeted funding allocation.
